Marian Brown

BIOGRAPHY

Assistant Chief Marian Brown has been with the Duncanville Police Department since 1988. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She also holds a Master Peace Officer Certification as bestowed by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education. She is a graduate of the International Law Enforcement Institute’s Management College and the FBI National Academy Associates Command College.

Throughout her tenure with The Duncanville Police Department, Assistant Chief Brown has served in the Patrol Division, Community Relations/Crime Prevention, and Criminal Investigations. She has served as the Assistant Chief of Police since 2007.
