Welcome to the City of Duncanville Fire Department website! We appreciate you taking a few minutes to visit us. The Duncanville Fire Department is staffed by fifty-three dedicated professionals providing a broad range of emergency and non-emergency services to our residents and visitors.
The Duncanville Fire Department maintains an ISO 2 public protection classification and we participate in a very extensive regional response program with Cedar Hill, Desoto and Dallas Fire Departments. Again, thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your virtual tour of our organization.

Featured Firefighter
Mike Hunt has been a member of the Duncanville Fire Department since October 1, 1978. He was promoted through the ranks to his current position as Battalion Chief, which he has held since 1997. He serves as the Fire Department's Training Officer and has been on the TEEX Advisory Board for the last 10 years. Chief Hunt lives in Terrell, TX with his wife, Alison. They have three grown children.
