- Irrigation backflow prevention devices
- Exterior wall coverings
- Accessory buildings
- Erosion control
- Engineering is required for the following:
- Foundations
- Steel buildings
- Tilt walls
- Retaining wall - 4' or taller (measured from base of footing to top of wall)
- Trusses, I-Joists, Flooring system
- Form survey
- Elevation certificate
- Residences over 10,000 square feet require sprinkler system
- Special driveway requirements for deep lots
- Fences with driveway gates may require "knox" boxes
- On-Site Sewerage Facility
- Completed TNRCC Authorization to Construct Form
- On-Site Evaluation Report
- Irrigation Design
- TNRCC Final Approval
- Irrigation requirements by licensed irrigator
- Separate irrigation permit
- Issue permit to licensed irrigator
- Backflow report
- Register backflow company (No Fee)
- Return backflow report to City Building Inspection Office
- Swimming Pools (Separate Permit)
- Signed off by TXU
- Pay permit fee
- $175.00 - In ground pool
- $75.00 - Above ground pool
- $75.00 - Spa only
- Pay fee (based on cost of construction)(water fees, sewer fees, and pro-rata if applicable)
- Register and Validate sub-contractors to City of Duncanville
- Register backflow testers
- Provide paving bond for work on public right-of-way
- $2,000.00 bond payable to City of Duncanville
- Street cut & barricade permit (no fee)
- All utility locates (no fee)
- Submit form survey
- Elevation certificate (if required)
- Call for required inspections at appropriate time - Building Inspection Department and Backflow Department
